Question: Types of dart shafts - can't find these anywhere?

While in England, my dad picked up a set of darts that included two types of shafts. One kind, which I can find everywhere, is the usual style where the fins just slide into the end of the shaft. The other kind, which is the kind I'm interested in, has a slit as tall as the fins near the end, and the fins actually slide through and then expand out, making it much harder for them to just randomly pop off. One of those shafts snapped in half, and now I can't find that style anywhere. Is there a particular name to this style, or does anyone know of someplace that sells these? Thanks so much! |
